“The quarantine has had its ups and downs. I like the fact that I didn’t have to go to school and sit in a classroom for six long hours. Because of this, I had time to explore new activities. I learned how to cook, how to make an omelette, how to recognize certain herbs, and I also created my own recipes. I also started exploring the city with my dad, riding long miles on our bikes. Also, my little brother was born so that was pretty exciting!
The hardest part of the quarantine was that I couldn’t play with my friends and visit their homes. I also missed going to places like the movies and Universal Studios. And I’m now looking forward to going back to school so I can see my friends.“ - David, 11
