“When I was in regular school, sometimes the days were really long and I wished I was home spending time with my family. When the pandemic and distance-learning started, learning how to use all the new technology and getting on schedule with my teachers was really difficult. I feel like I fell way behind. Sometimes it was hard to get on the Internet and connect with my teachers, and I didn’t get to have one on one with them either.
Now that my mom and dad are homeschooling me and my brother it’s a lot easier, and we get to learn and do the work at our own pace. The part that I really don’t like about it is that I don’t get to see my friends from school ever since the pandemic started.” - Jack, 11
